Probably pictured on the main Ashford Road near Cades Road. Is that their dog behind Joyce?

Two couples and a girl at the Nissen huts

Over the years we've been given a number of photos of people at the Nissen hut camp by residents who were there in the late 1940s or early 1950s.  Sadly we had lost trace of who the people are in these pictures, but now we know their names thanks to visitors who came to our exhibition in October 2013.

However, where are they now?  Do you know them or their families?

If you can help, or if you gave us these photos then please get in touch and let me know.  E-mail:  hothfieldmemories@hotmail.com

many thanks,

Chris Rogers, Chairman Hothfield History Society

Just discovered your Hothfield Memories Site and the three photographs of Lil and John  Joan Fuller and Joyce and Bill.

Lil and Joyce are in fact my sisters and i remember the Hothfield Huts as if it was yesterday Joan Fuller was a very close part of our family very much like a cousin and i was best man when she married my best friend Jamie Willis. Great days i could write a book about Hothfield from 1947 till late 60s when left.Kind RegardsJohn Smith
